A Wi-Fi Hotspot is a device you can use to connect a laptop, smartphone or a tablet to the
internet. (up to 9 devices can be connected to one Hotspot.)
The Forrest City Public Library is excited to offer Wi-Fi Hotspot Devices to our card
holders over the age of 18 years old, who have no fines, or overdue items. All persons
with the same address must have cards in good Standing in order to check out a WI-FI
Hotspot, and only one per household.
Devices can only be checked out for 3weeks, 1 RENEWAL. You will not be allowed to
check out for 2 months. ,,.,
Cards must be active for 3 months, with check outs, and no late material.
One per household and a user agreement must be signed stating that you are responsible
for the device, including lost or damage,
Devices are automatically deactivated on the due date. Once the Hot Spot has been
deactivated, future check out will not be allowed.
Hotspots must be returned inside the library (not in the drop boxes). If returned in
drop Boxes you will be fined $15.00.
You will be fined $2.00 per day late fee. If damaged, the cost will be added to your
account.
If the Hotspot is not returned you will be charged $120.00 or criminal charges will be
filed against you.
We have the right to refuse service to anyone who has not abided to library policies in the past.
