DVD Circulation & Damage Policy
Circulation period:
- DVD items are checked out for fourteen (14) days – no renewals.
Overdue fees:
- A fine of .50 cents per item, per day will be charged for any DVD not returned by the due date; fine not to exceed the cost of the DVD
Checkout limit:
- A household may have a total of three (3) DVD checked out at any one time.
Returns:
- DVD’s must be returned inside library, during business hours.
Age limits:
- DVD items may be checked out by patrons who:
- Are 18 or older
- have a current library card and
Damage liability:
- The library cannot be held responsible for any damage to a patron's DVD player.
- Patrons are responsible for replacement or reimbursement for any DVD item damaged by the patron or the patron's equipment.
Failure to comply with this policy will result in loss of DVD checkout privileges
